COMPENSATION PACKAGE: During the training period of one year, Executive Trainees will draw Basic Pay of R 20600/- and IDA, along with allowances up to 47% of Basic Pay under cafeteria approach. They will also be entitled for other perquisites and benefits such as Performance Related Pay, Foreign Compensatory Allowance, Liveries, Shift Allowance, HRA/ Company leased Accommodation, Medical benefits, etc., as per extant company rules. On successful completion of Training period they will be placed in the regular Pay Scale of R. 24900-50500/- at E2A level and shall be on probation for a period of one year.
SELECTION PROCESS: Eligible candidates would be required to undergo an All India written test. Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personnel Interview based on the performance in written test.
PLACEMENT: The selected Trainees shall undergo one year training at various places. The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of training. Candidates can be placed anywhere in India or abroad, in any of the functions at Projects/ Stations or offices.
AGE LIMIT: Upper Age Limit is 30 years as on closing date of advertisement.
SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND: The selected candidates who belong to General and OBC category will be required to execute a service agreement bond of R. 2, 50,000/- to successfully complete the prescribed training and thereafter serve the company for at least 3 years. This amount is R. 1,50,000/- for SC/ST category and Physically Challenged candidates.

  2. Valid e-mail ID and mobile number, which should remain valid for atleast one year.
  3. Personal details and educational qualification details.
  4. Candidates should have scanned copy of latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signatures in digital format (.jpg or .jpeg file only, less than 500 KB size) for uploading with the application form.
  5. All SC/ST/ PWD candidate need to upload their caste/disability certificates also in .jpeg or jpg formats of not more than 500 KB each.
  6. After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip and pay-in -slip generated by the system with unique registration number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration Slip which will be required at the time of written test and interview along with the proof of having deposited the application fee.
  7. General and OBC category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R 300/-. The Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded from the website after completing the registration process.
MODE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE: There will be two payment options, online (Payment Gateway) or Offline (Bank Challan/ Payin-slip). A candidate may opt for any one of the payment modes and proceed further accordingly.

Qualification,Experience,Emoluments & Benefits:

b)QualificationFull time Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology in CIVIL from a recognised University / Institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for General / OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
c)ExperienceWork experience of minimum oen year in any one or more of the following:
  1. Design / Engineering of civil works of industrial construction projects involving surveying, geo-technical investigation, design and engineering of special foundations, sub-structure and super-structure work of RCC / Structural Steel, etc.
  2. Design / Engineering of structural works of industrial construction projects involving design analysis of steel / RCC frame structures.
  3. Preparation of Quality assurance Plan (QAP) / Field Quality Plan (FQP) for various construction materials required for Civil and Structural works, inspection / witnessing of tests and dispatch of items as per QAP at manufacture’s works.
  4. Supervision of Civil works at site involving planning, inspection and witnessing of tests as per FQP, measurement and certification of works carried-out at site by the sub-contractors, etc.
  5. Co-ordination with Head Quarters / Contractors / Customer / Consultant.
  6. Supervision of structural steel works.

Selection Process:
1. If the number of eligible applicants for a post is in the ratio of up to 1:10 to the number of vacancies, Personal Interviews shall be conducted for all the eligible candidates. However, if the number of eligible applicants for a post is in excess of the ratio of 1:10 to the number of vacancies, the number of candidates will be restricted for Personal Interview on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in Degree examination.
2. Interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted at Nagpur for which call letters to the eligible candidates will be sent by post. Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class sleeper train fare from the mailing address or the starting station, whichever is nearer to the place of Interview by the shortest route, on production of proof of journey.
General Instructions/Conditions:
    1. Candidates should enclose attested copies for proof of date of birth, Degree, marks sheets of all semesters / consolidated mark sheet of Degree qualifications, Caste/Community Certificates and Experience certificates.:
    2. The posts are purely temporary in nature and offered on Fixed Tenure Basis for a maximum period of two years and it is not against any permanent vacancy. This placement will not entitle any candidate to claim for regular/permanent employment in BHEL in future.
    1. Mere conformity to the job requirement will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Management reserves the right to reject the application without assigning any reason and to raise the standard of specifications to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview. The recruitment process can be cancelled / suspended / terminated without assigning any reasons. The decision of the management will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
    1. Candidates employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview. However, in the event of difficulty, they may send the application directly and produce the relieving order from their Organisation in the event of selection.
    1. A non refundable fee of Rs.200/- is payable by the General / OBC candidates. The fee can be paid in any of the branches of State Bank of India, into Power Jothi A/c No. 30796267034 at Heavy Electricals, Kailasapuram, Trichy-14 (code no.01363) in favour of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchirappalli. The triplicate challan for payment of fee of Rs.200/- can be downloaded from the web site. The Journal No. given by the bank on payment of fee needs to be entered in the Application Form. The challan copy wherever applicable (BHEL copy only), needs to be attached with the Application and sent to BHEL along with other documents. No other mode of payment i.e., Demand Draft, Money Order, Postal Order, Cheque etc., is acceptable. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
    1. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged / Ex-servicemen category should enclose copy of the certificate issued by the competent authority to that effect. OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates are also required to submit a self undertaking (undertaking format) to that effect.
    1. BHEL does not take responsibility of attaching the documents or application fee sent separately after the dispatch of the original application form.

    1. Applicants should have sound health.
