Junior Research Fellow(JRF)

There will be a walk-in interview for the following positions in a DIT-Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (Govt. of India) funded project titled ‘QoS provisioning in Wi-Fi based Long Distance Wireless Networks for Hilly Terrain Rural Areas’ in the Department of Information Technology, North-Eastern Hill University, Mawkynroh-Umshing, Shillong – 793 022 on August 12, 2013 from 11:15 am.

Essential Qualifications & Package

1. BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/ECE/ETE or MCA  - Rs. 12000/- + HRA
2. BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics/ECE/ETE or MCA with Two years of experience in relevant field - Rs. 14000/- + HRA
3. BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/ECE/ETE or MCA with valid GATE score - Rs. 16000/- + HRA
4. M.Tech in Computer science/IT  /Electronics/ECE/ETE - Rs. 18000/- + HRA

Desirable : Good knowledge of C/C++ programming under Linux environment,Device Driver Programming
